How to review an automatically generated anomaly

Automatic mapping improves speed and consistency, but a colored low-value or high-value zone is not a universal water symbol. Moisture, fractures, clay, salinity, lithological changes, cavities and human-made interference can all change the measured response.

A stronger target is continuous across adjacent points, repeats on another line and fits a plausible hydrogeological structure. Review curve behavior, profile continuity and the 3D view together instead of relying on one image or one color band.

Depth range is not a water or yield guarantee

The Up to 500 m designation is a manufacturer-stated investigation range. It does not mean groundwater is present at that depth and it does not directly measure well yield, static water level or drilling success.

Confidence depends on geology, survey geometry, interference, data quality and interpretation. Deep or high-cost drilling decisions should involve a hydrogeologist or experienced geophysicist and should use local borehole records whenever available.
